Try this fun decorating technique on a clay cup! Every skill level is welcome to this 2 hr workshop. What is Sgraffito? : Sgraffito is a surface decorating technique that consists of painting the surface of a pot with colour and ‘scratching’ or carving away the superficial layers to reveal a contrasting colour layer below. Cups will be made by the instructor ahead of time and participants will get to carve their cup with a design of their choice (many images and transfers will be available). Different colours available. Once completed, the cup will be picked up 2 weeks later once it has been fired twice in a pottery kiln. Pottery creations are fired to a high temperature and glazed with a clear food-safe glaze. Class size limited to allow for plenty of individualized instruction. All materials included. Fee is per participant/seat.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 2 days of a workshop start date are nonrefundable. However, registrations are transferable to another participant. Cancellations or rescheduling a week before the workshop date will be charged a 15% cancellation fee
